From Eisner-winning creators Ed Brubaker and Sean Phillips comes the definitive way to read Criminal. These oversized hardcovers collect twelve stories across three volumes, wrapped in extras: essays, behind-the-scenes art, cover paintings, story notes, and comics that were never printed before.
Whether it's a getaway gone wrong, a con that gets too personal, or a past that won't stay buried, Criminal is about what it costs to live outside the law, told through interconnected stories that dig into the darkest corners of the human heart.
Includes:
Vol. 1: Coward, Lawless, The Dead and the Dying + essays, illustrations, behind-the-scenes art, and short stories
Vol. 2: Bad Night, The Sinners, The Last of the Innocent + essays, behind-the-scenes artwork, and never-before-printed comics
Vol. 3: Savage Sword of Criminal, Deadly Hands of Criminal, The Night Callers, Orphans, plus the novellas My Heroes Have Always Been Junkies and Bad Weekend + cover paintings, fake magazine ads and letters pages, and story notes
Twenty years after the first issue, and with Prime Video's series in the works, this is the time to own Criminal in its best format, before everyone else finds out what you already know: crime comics don't get better than this.
