Forget what you thought you knew about the Legion. This is the Five Years Later era—where optimism fades, heroes fracture, and the future isn’t bright… it’s complicated.
This bundle collects both volumes of one of DC’s boldest, most experimental takes on their long-running 30th-century super-team. Helmed by Keith Giffen with Tom and Mary Bierbaum, this legendary run pushed the Legion into a darker, more mature narrative filled with political intrigue, alien occupation, fractured alliances, and an Earth in chaos.
Vol. 1 kicks off five years after the classic Legion continuity ends, with a broken team and a corrupted Earth.
Vol. 2 continues the saga with the return of old enemies, the rise of new heroes (hello, Legionnaires!), and the fate of the United Planets hanging in the balance.
