Artist Juan Giménez is best known for his sci-fi work on The Metabarons, an epic tale combining realism with knightly stories and a top seller in his native Argentina and South America. His meticulous art brought this series to life, captivating readers worldwide.

In “Infante, Infante…” a combat unit wears special suits controlled by painful impulses transmitted from a command center that dictate what to do, stripping them of any vestige of humanity.

In “Farewell, soldier…” a group of exhausted infantry patrols the streets of a desolate Paris until they must put their coordination to the test to eliminate a sniper attacking from an abandoned building.

“Outpost” presents the only line of border defense in the far reaches of space and how it depends on a group of pilots who refuse to patrol until their demands are met.

Realities Beyond Any Limit by Juan Giménez! 

From an experiment in sequential narrative in which two diametrically opposed worlds coexist and influence one another, to a microcosm in which a rebellion erupts to destroy all the prisons erected by a terrible evil that threatens to destroy all living beings.

Some of the stories included in this anthology...

In "The Sleeping Princess", a juxtaposed narrative presents two stories: a gray and somber one in which an experimental procedure is carried out to awaken a comatose girl; and another, in full color, in a dreamlike setting reminiscent of swashbuckling adventures in which a hero seeks to awaken the princess from her perpetual slumber. One is a reflection of the other, but what is the link that unites both realities, and how can it overcome the limits posed by each?

In "The Eternal Game", two soldiers kill time from their base of operations on the battlefield, betting on the outcome of each of the aerial confrontations they witness. But when a new experimental ship begins to dominate the battles, easily overcoming each challenge, the real game begins: it's up to them to capture the ship so they can inspect it.

"Transcooter" presents a short science fiction story that opens with "a night of torrid and passionate love" framed by the dawn of a scientific discovery that envelops everything in a fatal Möbius strip.
